Service Mission and Goal
- Through vocational training and participation in production work, so that the people with disability who cannot be employed in the open market can develop their social and economic potential; and
- Improve personal working ability and expect to have the opportunity to assistance in or work at open market.
Service Highlights
- Develop good work habits;
- Provide allowance-generating work skills training; and
- Provide activities to meet personal development and social needs.
Target Group
- The people with disability who are aged 15 or above;
- Mentally and emotionally stable;
- Has adequate self-care skills; and
- Pass the job intention and ability assessment.
Application
Apply through the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department. After completing the application, you will become the member of the unit.
Fees
Charges according to the amounts specied by the Social Welfare Department.
Service Hour
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
(except public holidays)
Withdrawal
Members and/or their family members can withdraw from the service at any time. Due to the changes of member’s personal circumstances or needs, and no longer meet the relevant service requirement, the service unit will assist in providing appropriate referrals.
