Service Mission and Goal
Provide diversified services and activities such as social, recreation, interest, education, community support to the people with intellectual disabilities so as to promote their personal development, improve the quality of life, and embrace the spirit of inclusion
Type of Residential Service
Supported Hostel provides group home living for people with disabilities who can only live semi-independently
Service Highlights
- 24-hours service operation and it provides residential and nursing care service
- One meal is included
- An individual service plan is established depends on individualized needs
- Provide leisure activities, groups, and counselling, which depends on user’s well-being
Target Group
People with disabilities who are:
- aged 15 or above
- Capable of semi-independent living i.e. mastery of self-care skills but may need a fair amount of guidance/assistance in some domestic tasks like cooking or washing or in community living activities like shopping
- Actively occupied in various forms of employment or day training
- Physically and mentally suitable for group living
- Physically healthy with no active infectious disease or drug / alcoholic

Application
Referrals can be made by social workers and staff of rehabilitation service units to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department

Withdrawal
Users and their family members could withdraw from the service in any time they need. Referrals can be made by the service unit depends on the condition or need of the user
