Service Mission and Goal

Enhance community medical professionals’ awareness of early recognition and intervention of public mental health

Through cooperation with private family doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners, and medical personnel, early identification and intervention of persons with mental health needs
-
Promote mental health to the general public, make good use of community medical care and information to seek early assistance in case of need
Service Highlights
- Provide Mental Health Assessment, Counseling and Spiritual Care Support Team
- Provide professional family doctors or registered Chinese medicine practitioners for consultation and treatment
- Referral to psychiatric consultants for consulting services when needed
Target Group
Persons who lived on Hong Kong Island and New Territories West and facing psychological/mental distress

Apply by yourself or referral by social worker
Service Hour
Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
(except public holidays)
Service Charge
- Mental health assessment and mental health counselling services provided by social workers will be free of charge
- Two to four consultations and treatments provided by professional family doctors or registered Chinese medicine practitioners. Each consultation fee is HK$50.00
- The consultation fee of HK$50.00 will be waive for those who receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance or Disability Allowance
