Our belief: ‘Carers’ Wellness is the Cornerstone of Building Family Resilience.’
- Compassion: Love and care serving as a family’s cornerstone, fostering understanding and acceptance for people with mental health needs and their families;
- Alliance: Establishing community connections and mutual support for self-help and public acceptance of people with mental health needs and their families;
- Resilience: Equipping carers with knowledge and skills to cope with emotional stresses and care-giving difficulties;
- Empowerment: Enhancing family capabilities and self-help to realize potential and manage emotional stresses; and
- Resources: Providing practical information and tools to enhance knowledge, acceptance, and coping for families of people with mental health needs.
Service Mission and Goal
Our center was Parents / Relatives Resource Centre. This centre established in June 2025 with the aim of enhancing family and public acceptance of individuals experiencing mental health needs or in the process of mental recovery, as well as strengthening family functioning to help caregivers cope with the difficulties and pressures they encounter.
Service Highlights
- Providing professional counseling and crisis support;
- Conducting support groups and skill-building activities for caregivers;
- Organizing community education events to enhance social inclusion; and
- Featuring a Carer Resource Corner with reference materials and local service information.

Target Group
Carers who take care of their family members with mental health needs or in mental recovery.
Application
- Applications are accepted year-round; and
- Apply in person, online, or by phone. Service arranged for eligible applicants only.
Fee
membership: $21 (valid for one year)
Service Hour
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday: 9:30am – 5:30pm
Tuesday and Friday: 12:00nn – 8:30pm
Sunday and Public Holidays: Closed
Withdrawal
- Members must renew their membership upon expiry, otherwise the membership will be automatically terminated; and
- Members may apply to terminate their membership at the centre for any reason.
